What is the Mustang Stampede?
The Mustang Stampede 2023 will be the primary fall fundraiser for our school, the kick-off date is Friday, November 3, 2023. The event will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, and we promise a day filled with fun and lots of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School spirit. We come together as one school family to support our school. We want our students to know they can make a difference in growth and improvement of their school.
What is the Goal?
We have set a fundraising goal of $50,000 for this year's Stampede. As we strive to provide the best educational experience for our students, we hope to raise $50,000 to fund Phase 2 of our Innovation Lab renovations - updating and expanding our technology program. In addition, our Early Learning Center will benefit from this fundraiser, as well. We thank you in advance for your support!
Challenge: If every student raised $100 or more, we could greatly surpass our goal! WE’VE GOT THIS!

For PreK-3 through Grade 8, select your child’s teacher. For Infants through 2 1/2 year olds, just select Early Learning Center.
NOTE: If cash or checks are collected, as opposed to online donations, please send in an envelope with your student’s name and class clearly written on it.
Incentives and Prizes
BE A PART OF OUR TEAM! All students whose families simply register on FunRun.com will receive a SMMCS Mustang Stampede 2023 glow-in-the-dark silicone wristband. Our goal is 100% participation regardless of financial participation!
The top earner in each homeroom K-5 on school days, November 6-16, will earn the chance to Spin the Wheel at lunch time for exciting rewards. Totals from 8:00 am the previous day to 8:00 am on that day on funrun.com will be used to determine eligibility. (Note that it is a single day total, so if the top earner for the day only brings in $5, they spin the wheel!)
Students in PreK3 - Grade 5 will be eligible for fun prizes for achieving donations. Prizes will be distributed on Friday, November 10 and Friday, November 17, based on donations collected through the preceding day at 8:00 am. Any remaining prizes earned through Friday 11/17 at 3:00 pm will be distributed after the Thanksgiving break.

Students in Grades 6-8 will earn a raffle ticket each day November 6-16 for any donation received by 8:00 am each morning. A name will be drawn each day for a $20 Visa gift card.
Students in Grades 6-8 will receive a Free Dress Pass for every $100 in donations.
Students will be able to earn additional rewards as set by the homeroom teachers based on total classroom donations.
All classes with 100% participation will receive an EXTRA RECESS!
The class collecting the most money in donations as of date Friday, November 17, at 8:00 am will get extra time in the inflatables on Friday afternoon!
All students collecting over $500 in donations will be invited to a catered lunch with our principal, Mr. Linquist.

Mustang Stampede Event Details
On Friday, November 17, EVERY student of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School will participate in the Mustang Stampede - a fun, fitness event! This year’s Stampede will take place in the school gymnasium - a GLOW DAY! In addition, there will be inflatables on the soccer field.
