Lunch menus and account payments are made through the SLA parent portal.

Hot lunches are provided by SLA Management Monday through Friday. SLA is a Florida-based food service management company dedicated to providing high quality, nutritious, and cost efficient meal programs to the academic community. Hot lunches are $4.25 including a beverage. For more information please contact info@slamgmt.com.

Lunchroom Volunteer Instructions and Expectations

Volunteers, please follow these few guidelines when helping in the cafeteria:

  • Walk around student tables helping to open containers or lunch items that are sealed.

  • Help students with spills by providing paper towels to wipe.

  • Respond to students when they raise their hand.

  • Volunteers may not walk inside the kitchen; that is for SLA cafeteria workers only. They do not have cups for water.

  • Help spray and wipe tables at the end of the lunch period.

We are thankful for your time and helping our students during lunch and recess. If you have any questions on volunteering, please email Home and School at hsa@smmschool.org.

Reminder: Families are required to volunteer at least 5 hours in the lunchroom or during recess, in addition to volunteering for special events during the school year. Please add your name to the sign-up genius if you plan on being on campus as a volunteer during lunch & recess. Please remember, volunteers should have cleared fingerprints and complete the Safe Environment Training video and test.
