General Details
Join us for an elegant evening consisting of a cocktail hour, a silent auction, dinner, a short program, a live auction, and finishing with music and dancing. The SMMCS Gala is one of the highlights of the year! Sponsorships and reserved tables are available now. Individual tickets will be available on Friday, March 13.
Attire
Guests are invited to dress in spring semiformal attire appropriate for an elegant garden setting. Light and refined fabrics, soft seasonal colors, and classic spring patterns such as florals or pastels would be appropriate. The overall style should reflect a polished yet relaxed spring aesthetic suitable for an outdoor garden celebration. See attachment for attire ideas!
Sponsorships
Our sponsors are critical to our gala’s success! Details for all sponsorship levels may be found in the Sponsor Package. The Legacy, Platinum, Gold, and Blue level sponsors are invited to the Champagne Reception with passed hors d’oeuvres at 5:00 pm, prior to general admission for all other guests at 6:00 pm. Note that the Friends of SMMCS level enables guests to reserve a table for eight and enjoy passed wine at their table.
The dinner menu will consist of “stations.” A grilled zucchini salad will be preset on the tables, along with an artisan bread basket. The entrees will consist of three stations: Savannah Shrimp and Grits with Pickles Jalapeno Corn Muffins, a Steakhouse Martini with Roasted Potatoes and Chimichurri, and a Lemon Chicken Piccata with Angel Hair. Guests are welcome to visit any or all of the stations, and return, if desired. Dessert will feature a Lemon Souffle with Wild Blueberry Sauce.
Menu
A bar will be available throughout the evening. The bar will include two signature drinks, along with basic cocktails, wine, beer, water and soda. Wine will be passed during the dinner hour, along with tea and water. Sponsorship packages include a limited number of drink tickets. Drink tickets are also available for purchase on site. There will be discounted presale drink tickets available beginning March 13.
Beverages
The SMMCS Gala utilizes Qtego, an online auction platform which incorporates bidding from mobile devices. Registration for Qtego will be available prior to the auction. The Silent Auction will open on Friday, April 17, at noon, and run through Saturday evening. The Silent Auction is open to both guests attending the auction and those bidding from home.
The Live Auction will follow dinner and be open to only those in attendance.
Auction Details
Our SMMCS Annual Auction & Gala is one of the most anticipated and memorable evenings of the year. It is a joyful celebration that brings together our school and parish community for a night filled with fellowship, laughter, and shared purpose. Throughout the evening, there will be music, dancing, and a fun photo booth where guests can capture memories. Parents, friends, faculty, and supporters gather to enjoy an elegant evening while celebrating and supporting our school.
